This is little Timosha, a 2 1/2 year old ADORABLE orphan who happens to have Down Syndrome. He is currently in an orphanage overseas waiting for a family. I am Timosha's Prayer Warrior and now I am also his Christmas Warrior. Reece's Rainbow has also chosen Timosha to be their child of the month for October. This means extra prayers and a special donation fund is set up for him at http://www.reecesrainbow.org/waitingchild11.html, where you can also read more about him. Please keep this precious little boy in your prayers for the next few months, and if you are able to, consider donating to his adoption grant fund at the above link. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could pray him a family for Christmas this year?
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
There are children all over the world in need of a family, love, and basic care. Many of these children have disabilities and are placed in mental institutions at the age of 4 or 5. In these places the children rarely live past the age of 10 and most die within the first year. Will you help to spread the word to raise funds and families for orphans with disabilities? Please visit Reece's Rainbow and see how your donation- however large or small- can help a child find a family. Look a little harder and you just might find the calling for one of them to be your own. If finances aren't a way you can help, please look across their photos and say a prayer that each one will find their forever family soon. Reece's Rainbow is an International Down Syndrome Orphan Ministry which also advocates for orphans with other disabilites across the globe. Please "grab this button" and post it with a message to your own readers as well. It starts with ONE, but then grows exponentially. You never know, your own post may be one that finds a family for one of these precious children."

Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12
