I know it's cliche, but I couldn't resist!

She got it all over her hands too, the chocolate pudding. It was like she had never been allowed to have messy hands before, she just kept looking and looking at them, and she was so HAPPY!

  3. Perfect moments of just being allowed to be a kid. So much freedom, joy and wonder all over her face! At least those are the things pudding represents to ME! Love you so much.

  6. Some other things we have noticed with Mattea is letting her wonder around as much as she can with the oxygen hose. She is not used to being allowed to make messes and to explore her world. Yes she does get into trouble but aren't little kids supposed to do this?
She will stop and turn around sometimes to see if you are watching and what you are going to do if she does something.
Last night it was so funny to watch her look at her hands and then to rub them on her face and then look at her hands again. She acted like she had not ever been allowed to make a mess out of food and not be in trouble.
She is developing her own personality and is even trying to get into dad as a person she can trust. She is finally eating for me and we make a game of eating sometimes and I hide the food and the expression on her face is just priceless as she thinks she has lost the food. She must have been fed so little that she is still unsure at times that it is all for her and that she can have it all.
